Turnkey Integration Services

Every CNC Engineering, Inc. rotary table integration package is preassembled at our facility, prior to shipping. This means our in-field turnkey installations can be completed in as little as one-day. Our rotary table integration team is the best in the business and they're supported by more than 25 years of experience retrofitting hundreds of Fanuc control systems. Our combined expertise enables CNC Engineering to offer unmatched services like Fanuc control ladder changes, options, upgrades and parts.

Once the installation is complete, our engineers set gridshift and backlash parameters, thoroughly train machine tool operators and deliver complete documentation. Every documentation package is delivered on CD and exact copies are archived at CNC Engineering, Inc.

Quality Cable Systems

CNC Engineering offers the most advanced cable system on the market today requiring just one cable, rather than two. This custom cable is a durable, flexible, oil and coolant resistant solution that houses the motor, I/O and feedback conductors. For extreme manufacturing environments a steel-braided version is also available.

Our cable assemblies feature quick disconnect environmental connectors as opposed to the more common fine threaded connectors. These quick disconnect environmental connectors are waterproof to 1 bar (35 feet) for 12 hours. Connection is easily made with a half turn twist. As a standard practice, CNC Engineering hardwires our custom cable to the rotary table, completely eliminating a troublesome contamination point.

Integration Accessories

To complement our rotary table integrations, CNC Engineering offers the following accessories and services:

Additional axis integration on any Fanuc control
Fanuc control options
High precision separate feedback devices (Heidenhain)
Rotary table accessories like risers, faceplates, sub-plates, tailstocks and outboard support spindles
Switching circuit – allowing controls with limited axes to control more than one table
Remote jog – operator’s can manually jog the table, at the pallet station, to load & tram the next part, while the current part is being cut
Automatic rotary table detection - the FANUC control automatically recognizes when the table is plugged in and the axis interface is automatically enabled or disabled accordingly. No operator intervention is required.
Automatic rotary table clamping - FANUC parameters can be set to command an automatic table unclamp before any rotary table move and an automatic re-clamp at the end of the move. Alternatively, the control can be set to clamp and unclamp the rotary table through M-code commands.
Hydraulic fixture integration - can include a hydraulic power supply with hydraulic circuit controls and interface of clamp, unclamp and interlock signals within the FANUC control.
